    Hey MERCURY#1 :

    How was the material to wrap around the stern corners ?
    Did you have to make relief cuts ?
    Did you get the steel or alumium core ?

    The core is ribbed not solid. .it'll wrap around the nose of the vector without kinking

    Glad everyone could use the info. I am always looking to save $$ and improve things.

    The Hustler was saved from Iowa.
    All New core and Floor, a lot of sanding and buffing to bring the Original gel coat back to being decent for 1976 hull.

    Thank you to all that helped me with the Tips on how to bring the shine back. Motor was in storage for over 15 years was last used on my brothers Sport C boat back in the day late 90's.

    Boat is a lot of fun!
