This little boat held up with no issue.. We never stalled.. just tucked the drive in, pointed her in the right direction and took off after Simmons Racing.
After the race we gave her a quick inspection and found no cracks, no paint chips, no lamination separation and no GoPro

A lot of current in that River, I think you can consider yourself lucky for sure. Glad that the motor didn't ingest a bunch of water...Pete was obviously at the right place and time to document it for you "pretty sweet"

Could have been worse...... I know that we cannot keep up with the twin engine boats off the start or any straight so I started pushing into the turns very tight, like F1 Boats.
To keep the rpm's high I would over trimming the motor just as we left the turn and straighten out to help increase acceleration. I than started "cheating"... I started over trimming a little sooner, first just as we existed than in the middle of the turn..the boat would slide out a little but the rpms would stay up and help acceleration.
I knew what we had been doing was "on the edge" but in the heat of the moment I keep doing it till this happened... After we re started and did another lap I started doing it again, but not until we had existed the turn
