    helicoiled head bolts

I have a Mercury F1 block that I was going to put together and upon inspection, all the head bolts holes have been helicoiled. I put the heads on and torqued them down and all torque down just fine. I guess I am asking the engine gurus to what they think of this. It kinda bothers me and will these hold? I run 21cc heads. Maybe go to head studs? Can the block be sent out and all the holes welded and retapped? If so any idea of the cost and is it worth it? Thanks

Thanks for the response. I have 2 of these little late model 2 liter Bridgeport F1 motors. They are wicked little motors. I've spun it around 10,100 and they just sing!!

Studs are always better than bolts. Don't ever torque heads on a warm motor if you don't want pulled threads.
