That's above my pay grade ...

But like anything else , there's goobers in the ports , no lift , short duration , boost control valve need's the spring shimmed , intake / exhaust noise suppression system need's to get a lil .. emm .. a bunch of breathin room ...

Noli, I got my order forms for the 400ROS a few weeks ago . And said we need to rethink this especially after looking at price. The 28has been about a single 400 and I have to look at every angle. Will fill you in later

I think the pricing is insane and kind of hard to justify.. Its 20k for a 200ROS 20", $18k for a 300xs, $24k for a 20" 400R but S45k for a 15''? That means your paying literally $21k for the mid section swap, and for that 21k (the cost of a 300xs, and some props, fuel, oil, etc) you get no warranty.. I don't get the thinking or justification of this.. Id love to have a 15" ROS 400r but can't justify paying more than 25-30K which in my opinion is still pretty dam expensive as its 175% the cost of a 300xs which is a damn good motor..

$24,650 for HD or $26,375 for sporty. My prices are dead on for a HD case and 10% off for a sporty.

I have seen those prices as well. I believe list price was over 30k. I have heard OEM pricing on the ROS is about 80k for the pair.
When I with Mike Griffith on the boat from Mercury Racing he told me the powerhead on both motors are the same. The only difference is the mid section and no other HP gains other than maybe a few for the open exhaust of the 15" motor. Not worth it. You can get up to 5yrs warranty on the standard 400r.
