Ally - Thank you sir. I will keep you in mind as you know much more about the Magnusons than me. Most of my experience is with Eatons and Vortechs then some turbos and even some compounding of boost with a turbo and a an Eaton.

Joneill - We will see. I'll tell you this, we will be happy as a clam if you are right. I believe that even if it does dip into that range it will take some time before we find it. It's an untested combo that we will have to work through the hurdles and bugs. I feel I'm a pretty patient person and like doing things a little different so hopefully that favors us.

I like the way you think John. Someone has to be willing to try something new and go out on a limb against the odds...hate to think the world is still flat lol. Thanks for the info and compliment, it's been a long time coming.

Just got to find the right prop to get the hp to the water.. If the same time and effort is put into the setup as the build I am sure it will run. The only way it only runs 85 is if Npark is satisfied at 85

Chaz - Thanks. I can't take credit for the hull colors, Kurt picked those. I can take credit (or fault) for the rest though :-). This might be one of (if not) the last Strokers to leave Chubs hands and has the new raised pad so is quite special. Btw, my mind is now blown...that guy is so smart, we are all idiots lol. I do have to admit, I couldn't watch more than a few minutes before my brain was hurting.

XB - Thanks for the kind words. As you probably already know, I won't be happy at 85 ;-).

Suzuki makes some good looking 16" wheels and are for sale cheap on ebay.

Way cool project and best of luck to you.
I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.

Chaz - That's crazy power off something so small. 50+ psi and 9800rpm is insane!! I want one.

Instigator - Thanks for the heads up. Looks like they make them up to a 27.5 pitch. Wonder how much we can bend one and how much cup we can put in it. Not a bad looking prop and cool that's it's a 16" diameter. Will probably be worth a try since like you say, they are cheap on eBay. Thanks again.

So what does this pad look like , If I remember the standard pad was 12"?

The only reason I talked about torque , was Brent was going for 130+ and in order to do that you have to run a LOT of pitch, his boat IS a carbon fiber chip and you mentioned stern drive type torque, I own a 8.1 in a GMC and I just had the driveshaft replaced for the third time, of course the 445/22.5 tires don't help.

I really wish you the best , you have the power to run 120mph all day long.

So what does this pad look like?
We have invented the world; WE see

From what I've been told (and remember) the pad is the same design just been raised .5" so requires less positive trim. It was blueprinted by Chub too but the deminsions stayed the same.

The 400 won't make what a big block makes but 370 ft/lbs is a lot more than a 2 stroke for sure. Thanks for the well wishes. I would be very surprised if it runs north of 115, it's not a lightweight hull or build.
