For the guys who'd PM'd me about seeing my Magnum Missile in Tavares, I came down with 103/104F flu this week and not going. Was going to tow the boat up and run it, but after great assistance from Lloyd Leadfoot and some others, I missed the chance from my crappy cold I'm trying to shake. Then on top of it- my boat is upside down.

Took these pix today, the boat looks great, compression was 135 all 6 and mechanic said he would think the engine only has about 20 hours on it. I'm in Stuart and want to sell it, if anyone is interested- only the motor, not the boat.

Have a great time guys, maybe the next one...

Pix of the 200XP. I can give you the number of my tech if you want to hear anything about it- he was really impressed with it. Lloyd Leadfoot was also there when it ran, he can attest to it as well. Call me on 305.910.7481 if you need anything else. Thx.

Rechecked by a tech that I trust more- Steve Bars, said it was 135 all 6. Can set up to speak to him, motor is amazingly clean, all fresh water, Steve said he doubts it has more than 20 hours on it. Really nice.

I have a little rabco that has the same year 150 on it , love to put a 200 on it if the price is right, 4000 was a little outta my price range being the motor was 28 years old , but sounds like its in great shape. Do you have any props to go with it???

Hi Parker, is it a Missile that your dad was building from the Magnums? Price- OK, I agree- its an older motor, but like brand damn new. I know its up there, but everyone who see's it can't believe what it looks like. Happy to put you in touch with the mechanic who looked it over for me. It looks fresh outta the box, so clean its amazing. I wish I could use it, but going for an original era and proper weight/hp for that hull. My kid will grow up on this one, so I don't want to kill him with a V6.

I haven't run it yet, will try to get it into the water this week and will post what it does- I'm not going to push it- that hull, with that weight, and the HP would be a death trap.

If you're ever over my way and want to see it, happy to show it to you. Will take a special buyer who likes OMC and appreciates the "newness" of it. Phil

I had a MAGNUM MISSLE '76 and a DUO MYSTERY '70 at the same time...both had v/6 mercs on them...big difference in the bottoms, trying to post pic's but not happening, also got pic's of some DUTCHMANS and STARCRAFTS in that era, somebody e-mail me at [email protected] and I'll send you the pic's and you can post them up...ALAN BROWN " BROWNIE" introduced the MAGNUM MISSLEs at the MIAMI boat show 68-69 can't remember which...I still got a T-SHIRT...

The title claims this to be a 1976, but who knows who accurate that is. Any information or advice you can provide would be much appreciated. Ive started removing the core in the floor as its mush. The transom is out, and I plan to split the cap at some point.

Post it up on our Magnum Marine USA facebook page, you'll get all the answers you need. Brownie is on there, he probably knows this exact boat. He pretty much knows everything. Just ask my wife.
