You gotta use the right BAIT and troll where the big ones are. Try Ted Turner get a list of members of the Newport yacht club and the New York yacht club. Best wishes Amber Jack.

At least i got that part of the concept right “ROWDY” as i understand ??????
Now i believe its going to be easier to simply open the package and insert the said animal — then rebook the collection for monday.
Have finally finished the dog to my satisfaction —- bit disappointed i couldn't manage the correct KWACKER, wasn’t through lack of trying, had half the stall holders looking for one particular bike for the last month but with little or no success, but i will find it one day!!!!!!
Base turned out out beautiful. I haven’t fixed it to the bottom mount as the only way into the nose cone is through the base, once the concept is complete —then a dab of superglue will keep the whole shebang together.
Did get a great deal of satisfaction from creating that particular concept. Although i did have a kinda wobble when he told me his”HOBBY” was collecting Rolex watches !!!!!!!!!
Yeah CHARLIE —next time i pop in to either the New York or Newport Yacht club i will be sure to remind them i can do any concept required of any of the CUP contenders.
Saying that — i do have one of my concepts at “THE SQUADRON”. Attachment 515988 In Cowes. IOW.

Wild card for the “AMERICA’S CUP”————-OLD FARTS FOREVER. [OFF].
Did put a steering wheel on it —only competitors over 85 need apply ????????
Due to have the lugs cleared of wax and all other impurities today at St. Richards in Chichester. Have a brand fire new hearing aid awaiting insertion —- just four months to the day since i was first “interviewed”. Just like justice —- slow moving wheels !!!!!!!
The pronunciation just depends on which English language you’re speaking the original or colonial. Glad to hear that you’ll be able to catch every word instead of every other word now Sir Jackie !!!!! The rag boat looks wonderful and you have to do is catch one of those Newport Yachtys With a full purse and believe me about half of them to carry purses. Best always amberjack
NEWPORT YACHTIES are way above my pay grade Charlie ——would be happy to produce ANYTHING they ever even dreamed of —-if i only knew how to find ‘em. Next up is a trio of next years front runners in the AMERICAS CUP . NEW ZEALAND ——-ARAB EMIRATES —— and of course the BRITISH ENTRY —-INEOS.
After that [ which i have already started is “SIR MAX AITKINS” ——MERRY GO ROUND ——-AND LADY AITKINS——-GYPSY GIRL. !!!!!!!!!
FIRST time in my life i have plenty of time ———-so i should get everything in “APPLE PIE” order long before the due dates . Just before the COWES/TORQUAY in August for the AITKIN trophies . And well into 2024 for the AMERICAS CUP BOATS.!!!!!
The lughole clear out went well—— [both of them]———About a twenty year build up of wax and crud in the Left. [had a mastoid when i was 14]. There is a hole behind my ear which has been a constant source of amusement to all my grandkids and great grandchildren.
HELL FIRE —GRANDAD JACK REALLY DOES HAVE A BIG HOLE IN HIS HEAD !!!!!!!!!
So naturally i tell them of the time when Jerry landed in Bradford and chased all the kids across the moors !!!!!! We hid in the quarries and caves , nearly got away with it — but an SS Sniper caught me in his sights ——of course ,i saw the bullet coming—— but couldn’t get my head out of the way quick enough !!!!!!!!!!
Where’s the bullet now Grandpa ———“AH—WELL—NOBODY KNOWS —- that’s why the holes there —so it can get out without hurting me “ !!!!!!
You have to admit it sounds a whole lot better than “ i had a mastoid when i was a kid “. !!!!!!!!!!!!
Pictures Gene Please post pictures of the Langham as Jackie is calling it when you Place It in its place of honorarium Or a salad bar as you see fit. Us mere mortals can only hope to be honored by one of Jackie’s creations when we achieve racing Note-oriety as you have. Best wishes amberjack Charlies O’Neil
Afraid i never did make it back into SUPERSHED yesterday. Was “all of a tremble” for the rest of the day.
For weeks now i have been feeling like i was permanently “drunk” or inebriated . When it became really bad ,i left the machines that can hurt well alone .
Apparently the equilibrium or balance kit is situated in the ear drum and is quite a delicate piece of equipment. [i do not do delicate—it’s not in my vocabulary].
Did send a bunch of piccies to “THE NEWPORT YACHT CLUB”—- nothing yet, but then again i never expected to !!!! Like i told you before Charlie — i just enjoy doing my concepts, main reason for doing ‘em is to keep arthritis at bay and the little grey cells alive and active. Everything else is a bonus. If someone buys one —thats good —-if it doesn’t come up to muster then it goes “under the bench”.
Woke up clear headed but “wobbly”, so i won’t be doing the workshop today. Thought i might do another chapter for THE BOOK. Don’t usually get the time to sit down and scribe, but today i might just do that.
Can’t have a shower today as the doc does not want tap water anywhere near the newly cleaned out lugs ——first time in years i will be having a DIRTY DAY.
Well now you probably know how I feel all the time Bad ears bad legs bad knees bad shoulderBad ears bad legs bad knees bad shoulder terminal arthritis And deterioratingBrain matter. It’s all fun and games until you get oldThe price we pay for the fun we had. Amberjack a.k.a. crash Might get a chance to see Cadillac this weekend as I have to drag my project Bertram up there to his storage yard. Talk to him on the phone yesterdayMight get a chance to see Cadillac this weekend as I have to drag my project Bertram up there to his storage yard. Talk to him on the phone yesterday and if I can’t do it my son’s gonna drag it up there

Next concept to come up—-if anyone wants it ——speak now or forever hold your peace [or piece]???
Managed another 1,000 words [half a chapter for the book].
must be somewhere near the 120,000 mark—so, I’m not far off where i need to be before i start thinking seriously about getting publication .
Needs to be done before that hooded old bastard in the hood —him carrying the scythe over his shoulder starts sniffing around again .
Still feel like last weeks warmed up dish of cold porridge— they did say it make take a while before things improve .
At least the hearing is a little better —- i only said “YUOWHAT ‘ three times today .
...can't believe they accept duct tape wrapped packages over there. they won't here...https://www.screamandfly.com/attachm...6&d=1678091400
Beast from the east finally arrived —snow—sleet and bitterly cold rain, set for the rest of the week.
Still wobbly as a bloody old Kelly—- wind does me no good at all.
Tried keeping busy in the shop —didn’t work. Tried writing more of the book—-that didnt work either so I’m playing with the iPad for a change.!!!!!!
...about 30 years ago there was direct, matter of fact, saying in society, that was popular with some of the youth then. "life's a bitch, and then you die". i try not to repeat it, cause it seems heartless...yet so very true...
Have FERNAGLED a rough block of mahogany from which i hope to shape the very complex shaped hull. Won’t even try to get it like the original . Just my take on the US entry for the 2024 AMERICAS CUP .
All the contenders look very much like each other. America has four of these which will race against each other until one of them is chosen as the final contender .Swiss team RED BULL has three to pick from .
Now these boats are anything but “CHEAP” — so why would the daft buggers make a statement like “Fixed design to keep costs down”. Where these come from, nobody gives a flying fart about cost !!!!! The pot is a bottomless pit !!!!!
Was a time when”THE AMERICAS CUP” was a Rich gentlemen’s sport !!!!!!! Far removed from todays competition .
Not by the longest stretch of imagination can these be called “BOATS” ——-nor are the SAILS exactly that any more ???????
As for the hydrofoils ????? When is a boat not a boat ????? Boats use water —— are either in or out of the water. Sails were always made out of some sort of cloth ——-not compounds or metal !!!!
What we are seeing today is not an americas cup sailboat, but a progression of advanced water propulsion without used a motorised device .
Just saying—-everyone’s entitled to their own opinion !!!!!!Attachment 516468
That’s simply my take on any one of todays AMERICAS CUP BOATS . Not a copy —replica or scale model, just an old farts fernagling.
Everyone is entitled to comment—so please do.!!!!!
Jenson Button welcome to the States and racing in NASCAR.
A Tony Stewart team car with Mobil sponsorship.
Jenson will be racing at Austin Texas, Indy's road course, and the Chicago Street race.
Kimi Raikkonen will also be at the Austin road course racing.
https://youtu.be/LEI1PGRRcS8
Jenson is a very good all round guy. Won just the one world championship with ROSS Braun with the mercedes .
Been a long time since he did competitive racing —— afraid i wouldn’t give much for his chances in this day and age !!!!!! Just saying.

England and the English are a hard act to understand to anyone not actually Born on the island !
We have traditions—-customs—-dialects dating back thousands of years. English language is a strange mix of many others but generally speaking its made up of Latin and french [open for debate of course].
you only touch on a few power boat drivers Roy that you knew or knew of, whereas in fact there were hundreds of them— i knew of most of them but not all .
I knew a lot of Europeans and Australians——Far Eastern and north and South Americans.
Its what idid for many years , Race Boats. Giving me a wonderful life.
By the way Roy it’s RAY BULMAN ——-and ALF BULLEN —Just saying !!!!!
Ray BULMAN was just about the only journalist who actually knew what he was writing about—most of the other reporters were “WANNABEES” who could never get it right.
ALFIE ?????????? DO NOT EVEN GO DOWN THAT ROAD —- HE IS A BOOK ON HIS OWN— I AM VERY CAREFUL WHENEVER HIS NAME COMES UP.
...alf bullen immigrated to the middle of the state of florida in the early 90's to manage a marina there...https://www.boatmad.com/forum/attach...6&d=1280907098
Fuji how old is this photo and where is it? Seems like Mr. Wilson is pretty young.

Jackie.. I have to say that early on Don tipped me the nod regarding Alfie..Neverther
less Mr Bullen later in the day at Bristol did take the time and trouble explain the finer points of hull design and showed great patience answering my what have been inane questions.
Just my 2 Pence worth......
LMBRC. LONDON MOTOR BOAT RACING CLUB—-IVER HEATH. Or CMBRC ——COTSWOLD MOTOR BOAT RACING CLUB at Fairford Gloucester.
Both clubs were ex-gravel pits with trees and had heavy foliage round them.
Both are long gone and have not been replaced ——-
LEN BRITNELL was Commandatore at London—and Charlie Sheppard was Commodore at Fairford .
I was Great friends with both in 1978, was only in the 90/s i fell out big time with Len at Stewartby after he SOLD TWO HOURS of free practice time to OMC during the World ON championships.
Charlie was one of the few people i never did fall out with, although we often had some fairly heated discussions—especially over Bristol !!!!!!
i was 46 years old when that picture was taken——- 45 years ago.“My—Time flies when you’re having fun”.

Alfie knew every hood south of the Thames from MAD FRANKIE —to the KRAY TWINS—- Knew who to be near and who to leave well alone . All Alfs kids were and still are good friends with my kids , [could not wish for a nicer bunch].
Alfie always “sailed close to the wind”—- all his life —both here and in the states —- myself , i have done some great deals with him—-made a lot of money from those deals .
He was always close to the hierarchy at OMC and his circuit racing was mainly with JONRUDES whereas his offshore forages were mostly with Mercury.
In the USA, he got to KNOW GG at SECOND EFFORT—- had good times there but was eventually ASKED to leave by the FEDERALES.
We would do well to simply leave it at that—- ???!!!!!
Once asked Kevin and Andy if Alfie had anything to do with the disappearance of LORD LUCAN after the murder of the nanny but was told politely “NOT TO GO DOWN THAT ROAD” !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Magnolia tree finally blossoming. Usually lasts 6/8 weeks but a mix of frosty mornings and 60mph winds plays havoc . Lawn is covered in fallen blooms —looks like confetti after the dog and cats wedding.
Been fernagling ‘AMERICAN MAGIC ‘—- next years “AMERICAS CUP” BOAT !!!!!!!
Should be all white with a black sail. Almost of you know i do not do models —- so this is done in beautiful Burmese teak. [no, i will not be painting it any colour] and will be either beeswaxed or clear varnish. Could be on to a right spanking here - or it will be plain fecking brilliant, isn’t that what life’s all about ??????????
