Talking with Chris Wrong (TORC supporter, Stop Action Photography in TORC newsletter and Steve's Father)... Steve still has his stuff. But with his growing family he figured he wouldn't have time to race it. He was going to ask if he would be interested in selling it.
Chris will be at Waterford taking pics of everyone. The shots are usually yours for the taking at the next race with a small donation for the developing costs.58mph with 13ci on pump gas... 95mph with 49ci... come join the fun... www.TORC.ca

Steve's boat is up there with the best of class. Our Yamaha was in his wake too many times. I am not sure if he went to the 56 OMC powerhead later.
He was beating us with the 49 Stinger. He also has the right props for racing and the right set-up. I don't think Steve used the boat as a regular left in the water lake boat, so it can't have a hugh number of hours. He would also have the life jacket and helmet.

Hey Guys... if you've been in less than 6 races (not heats) you're a novice I believe... how many of you would be Rookies/novice? Just curious.
I think Paul Orchard and Tyler would be, anyone else?58mph with 13ci on pump gas... 95mph with 49ci... come join the fun... www.TORC.ca

Yes, just heard myself... A stock racer bought it!! Charlie Miller
Not sure on his plans yet and what his racing priorities will be. He races 5-6 classes regular at our races. I notice he put a CSH outfit up for sale. He's the Iron Man of Stock Outboard. I sent him a link to this thread, maybe he'll pop in. He's usually the first one at the Swap Meet so if you are there, track him down and say hello.

Andrew, I would be very surprised if Charlie doesn't run it. Its too good a boat not to race. We now have our first current stock outboard racer with an EP runabout. I bet there will be more. It only takes one race in an EP to get hooked and the interest will spread.
Tyler, I have located almost all of the parts you were after. a good power head, mid-section with trim, the cowl and pan, fuel pump, prop, gear case,
and electrical hardness, I will have it in one location in 3 weeks for you to look at.

Andrew .. yep im a rookie ... also if I bought a helmet off the TORC could I pick it up at the meet/swap? From what I've seen you guys have the best price.
Don ... that sounds awesome, just let me know and I will come to Toronto or wherever you have it. Are you going to be at the meet? If so I will see you there.

Yup Rick will have a pile of helmets and accessories at the Swap/BBQ. The Swap meet is held at his home.

THe trick for Charlie will be how to get all the stuff to a race! haha. I think he'll have to pick and choose. Or, he is a master welder... maybe he's making some wild trailer to hold everything! haha.
