Leaving for Miami tomorrow morning!
Okay, I have everything packed in the Z28 - cameras, laptop bag, videocam, and other things. I'll be uploading images right from the convention center as long as their high speed network is online. If not, I'll have to do it from my hotel. Either way, I'll have all the updates posted here on Thursday.
On Friday I'll take the videocam with me to the show and on the water to see if I can get some good video of these new engines running. Mercury always makes sure a boat is available for us to ride in, so that should work out well. Of course, I'll get the goods on the new Bombardier products too.
If there's anything specific (other than the usual stuff I cover) that you would like to see featured, post here and let me know. Also, my cell number is 239-297-4264, so don't be afraid to call!

Cool! look forward to
hopefully seeing reports of a new 300xs, 250HO ETEC and a fully R&D'd HP lower-unit, and lets see....Yamaha could make a higher HP model of its 2.6L line (don't see that happening)

im the best buisness individual that was ever brought into this world.
oh yea, lets here about the actuall results of a 225-e-tech vrs. a 225 verado.
it would be nice to know the blunt truth about whats available to the cosummers in 06.
oh yea,how about a 225-e-tech vrs. a 225 xs or opti or whatever they cosider the #1 performer for the light high performance boaters.
im not sayin im trying to rub anything in either companys face it would just be nice to know the results first hand,i will say this though bombadier is definitly not a b.s. company.i know mercury isn't either but like i said it would just be nice to know the results first hand.
i know this situation is not just laid out for anyone and am not saying you better or else but im just saying if the opertunity is there everyone would like to know that one.

Off topic: Darth good to see you, hope things are going well.
When can we expect a report on the Miami show? Tomorrow? Approx. what time?

I can't post any updates yet, since all press materials are on embargo until tomorrow. I have Bombardier's full press kit here though, but you'll have to wait until tomorrow to find out what's in it.
.
I took a run through the convention center as all the vendors were setting up and it looks like it will be another awesome show. Mercury has something planned for sure - and by the looks of their section on the floor, it will be pretty good.
I'll have details and many photos tomorrow - I'll be posting from the convention center, so expect updates almost as they happen.
For now, here's my office away from home (hotel room):

Hey Gregg if you wouldnt mind, I believe there is going to be a 50ft Airborn Cat from up this way... at least thats what the owner had planned. Its a pretty wild boat as its powered with twin turbines and runs 150 with an open cockpit. Anyways maybe could u snap me a few pictures of it???
