its pretty cool,i miss my mustangs sunroof. of course the magazines reviews of the new saleens isnt so good though, poor fits on the ground effects, and nobody likes the spoiler.

on another note, I want to trade my lightning in on a new cobra, but i should buy a house first.... ohh what a dillema

Just like every other Nissans in the parking lot or junk yard.... boring

Own the Saleen and you'll likely have the only one in town and 20 years from now it'll be worth more than you paid for it. Your POS Nissan will be worth what ever scrap tin is selling for.

Sorry, I look at cars from a experence, and a mechanikle stand point, and I thank that people have way more money than sence when they pay an extra 15 or 20K for a windshield sticker, and $3,500 worth ov add on's that don't fit good???...If it makes ya feel better, FORD ain't tha only one that fools thier customers

I'm not knocking them Kevin, I'm just saying they're quite expensive. I know as much about performance cars as I do boats, which is very, very little!

I would never trade a factory built car for a Saleen. Only back in the early 90's were Saleens even worth the extra money. Even then, they had a huge amount of issues. Now all they are is a bunch of flash with no muscle or true heritage. The new line of Cobras since 2003 have been the best Mustangs ever.

Here is my 1992 Saleen. It was one of only 18 built in 1992. It came with the Vortech supercharger and stock put down an honest 325 hp as delivered. I eventually needed more and changed quite a bit.

Here are some of my '03 Cobra. It put down 605rwhp & 740 lb/ft of torque. Many mods but will find the CD and load the images to my site later. Here is the heart of making all that power... An intercooler that has 300% better cooling than the stock one.

And my all time favorite toy is my turbocharged Lightning. It puts down 640rwhp on 10 psi of boost and 1072rwhp on 17 psi of boost with race gas. Even passes emission tests!

People who buy this car usually have plenty of $$$. They don't go to the credit union or bank and "see" if they can buy this car. They buy it because it is a very unique well engineered limited production high performance automobile and they "can". No different than the Shelby Mustangs. Now tell me, how valuable is a '66 Shelby today? And if you can afford it, what's more fun, a limited production Saleen
    or a Nisson

No offence taken Kevin, I like the Mustang. Someone I know got one about four years ago, I believe the price was a lot lower then? I hope they didn't up-scale it a little and raise the price a lot thinking that "loyal" customers would pay the extra money, basically taking advantage of the Cars Namesake and history! I know that a Vett is still considered a great value. Compare the bang to the buck with some of the other fast cars.

PS, the bass are starting to bite, i hope to get out soon. I'll give you a call this coming week!
