K.K. I didn't have a Landau p-toon boat but I did have a tri-toon made here in Bartow. The 1st thing you will notice is it rides MUCH!! better than the standard p-toon, it also handels weight much better. I beleave they offer what they call "performance strakes"--pieces if aluminum angle welded to the inside of the outer logs and both sides of center log, get these they work! Mine had a old very tired 200 efi on it and would run 44 on GPS with three full groan men and three 150 guart coolers full of ice and be..drinks
You also will notice how dry they ride compaired to the regular boats. I loved mine but the truck hated it. I will get another one when I get a new truck! Hope that helps, Mike T.

If I were looking at performance oriented pontoons, I would go with Playcraft. We used to sell them. They're a great boat. I really liked the entrance that's cut into the back of the pontoon. Plus they build them with the lifting strakes and they're very into performance.
We had a 26' that would run 60 with a 2.5 carb motor on it and that's probably not the best pontoon motor.
Their X-Treme toon comes standard with triple logs, decked over (or actually under) tunnel deck, and the rac-r-fins, hydraulic steering and it's pretty bitchin' looking for a pontoon boat.

everything
but the widebody....thats what they call it...(10'beam model with a roof and slide)...I have or could have had from bennington that premier offers also.....
Just that the folks at premier wouldn't give my wife the time of day at the chicago boat show....Thats there loss..
I am not knocking Premiers boats....they looked fantastic.....just didn't like there attitude or the way they treated people,of course that probably reflects the local dealer not the company.
I have been around 50,000.00 pontoons since 1996 and both premier and bennington are the cadillacs and lincolns of the toon industry.
Oh by the way everybody the premier widebody is 90,000.00Bennington 2550RL Yamaha F150
