Making Some Four and Five Blades...

Yea, I see you might need a prop...I'm making some "LOW BUCK" baby Yamaha Style cleavers with a thur hubs for 40-75 outboards...

Keep an eye on E-Bay, as I sell there as prop19....Or, when I finish the 6 prototypes, this week, I'll post them under props...

11/12 diameter 16 to 18 pitch, four and five blades...

    Selling for around $250-300....

Greg...Are you going to contact me about placing an ad here??? I sent you an e-mail...

    ron,
Those props sound like the ticket. The smallest cleavers i've come across are 18" and most others are 21+. Would love a 16" or 17"

I was thinking even smaller that, like 9.9hp, 15hp and maybe a few crazy people with 25hp on little dingy's. This way instead of being all about who can buy the nicest SST60 and mount it on an inflatable, it would be about who can rig their rowboat the best from conditions, who a better driver and by keeping it small alot more people can get involved. Like a cheaper version of bathtub boat racing. Just my 2 cents.

    Something like this
    http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs...001/854/613/10

You could get the boat for less than $500.00 new, modify it and run it with what ever wont sink it.

We have informal dingy races all the time, mostly with small inflatables.

    I was running the sleeper:

    I have "15" under a "6" cowl.

But I was found out when I broke it :

It really is a total blast though and I highly recommed it, just remember to wear a vest and snap on your lanyard because you can get thrown out fairly easy

Now I wonder maybe I can fit the dinly back in it's bag and put it and the motor in the overhead compartment ....

I could use a baby cleaver with more than 20" pitch.

My Voo Doo is into the rev limiter at 3/4 throttle with an old Merc FE class 20" 'dumbo' prop.
