prayers for my baby sister please!!
hey everyone, man- what a CRAZY evening it has been... my little 14yr old sister is a little slow and has some problems, she has been a part of my family since she was born and was finally adopted a few yrs later.. she decided she was going to run away after having a bad day...well, she tied some sheets together and climbed out her window onto the front porch roof.. its about 13 or 14ft high at the low edge.. well she got to the edge and im not sure if she jumped or fell but she went for a spill and after hearing her screaming BLOODY MURDER we all ran out front to see her bunched up on the ground which is thankfully just dirt and grass cause she was a few feet to the side of the concrete!! well, im pretty sure she at least broke her ankle cause when the ambulance people put her on the stretcher her ankle is a HUGE knot!! she has some other pains but she is in the X-ray room as i type this and we are hoping for the best.. God willing she didnt break her neck or back because with 2uncles on my mothers side that are in wheelchairs i think thats enough for tis family...well, all your prayers would be greatly appreciated..her name is Kayla.. thank you-- sean

Prayers
You got 'em. And I thought I was having a bad day because I cut myself on on my SRX trying to change props to go skiing. Definitely in my prayers, hang in there buddy.

thanks everyone.. man-- it has turned out to be a lot worse then we had thought... she just got out of surgery though asnd it went a lot better then expected though.. she broke her fib, tib, foot, ankle, and a bunch of toes and a couple i didnt hear the names of yet but they had to put her in surgery cause she was going to lose her leg if they didnbt start right then.. they didnt know at 1st if that was going to save it but i guess it went well so the leg is safe!!!! OMG-- im just freaking ouyt here... and im stuck watching the other ones here at the house...well, i can go in a bit so im out of here and gonna go in a couple of hours before she wakes up and also just hear the doctors for myself 1st hand.. thanks again everyone and please pray for her still cause shes not out of the woods yet...
ya know it just hit me-- i alsmot lost my leg 10yrs ago last week, (july 30th 1995will be remembered for me!),when i got run off the road by a drunk driver-- i broke everything in my right leg and arm/wrist etc from hitting a rock ledge at 60mph on my streetbike..i know the pain she is going to be going through and ya know if its me i can deal with it but to see a child..either way she has a tough road ahead...-- tha amount of people i saw when i went for coffee down the street a little while ago that know her and love her just blew me away.. its almost like she has no idea just how may people love her and care for her.. she is like a 5yr old or something around there in her mentality and its tough being that age anyways let alone starting to realizer your different and maybe dont quite fit in with some cruel kids that ya see.. man, i hope this opens her eyes to just how many people absolutely love her and love to be around her-- she is truly one of the sweetest kids you will ever meet and if she met any one of ya youd be her best friewnd in 5minutes time..she is def an angel....thanks again everyone and good night...il post up when i get home tomorrow.. -- sean

sorry to hear about the fall and surgery, but I"m glad there are so many people around Kayla (family and friends) that love and support her. My thoughts are with her and all of you as you help her through the surgery and recovery.

thank you everyone-- and id have to say the prayers worked.. its been one heck of a night and all of a sudden the word from the hospital was she was going to lose her leg so they did emergency surgery but they didnt have a certain pin they needed... i was ready to take my bike to this other hospital like an hr away if i could get the pin cause i can make it in prob 20minutes on the motorcycle!!! but thank God that the surgery went better then surgen could have expected and he said he was able to put her together so well that she may not even need any more surgeries!!! i really believe that our prayers made a difference and God was with her and the surgen cause they didnt even know if the surgery was definately going to save her leg it was so bad..the surgen was kind of in awe of how well it went!!! fib, tib, foot, ankle, bunch of toes and i believe one or 2 more... so yeah-- some serious stuff for sure but thank God(AGAIN!!) i am just really in awe cause from what they doctors were saying and not knowing if she'd keep her leg and the outcome being sooo much better its amazing to say the least... thank you again everyone and i will absolutely keep up to date with how shes doing.. thanks and God bless ya'll
