horrible week... grandma isnt doing good:(

hey guys, i just need to vent, this is one of the worst weeks ever.

3 yrs ago my grandma had a minor stroke but recoverd fine. just 4 days ago she had (what the doc's determined to be) a massive stroke on the left side of her body. she has been getting better each day, speaking better and so on. yesterday my aunt was very nervous for my grandma and went into the hospital for anxiety and they found a large blood clot by her heart. so now both my grandma and aunt are in the hospital. my aunt is on very strong blood thinners and should be fine.
just a few minutes ago (around 11pm) my dad comes into my room and says him and my mom have to run to the hopspital because my grandma just had another massive stroke on the other side of her body and shes not doing well. i need to stay home beause my aunts 2 children are sleeping at my house untill shes out of the hosptial.

i dont know what to do...

2yrs ago my grandfather died from cancer and my grandma had alot of stress from that. i just hope she can recover

i just got a call that she has a massive brain hemorage (spelling?) and they cant do anything about it, shes still alive but probably wont make it through the night

I'm sorry, brother. I know how you feel. I have lost almost all of my elders. The only ones left are my Mom and my Big Mama (grand mother). Every one else is gone......

Take care of yourself and your family. They need you now. You are in my thougts and prayers.

You are a tough nut. (no pun intended) Hang in there pal. I know how you feel. I have felt kind of like that since my dad went into the nursing home. It sucks bad.

So sorry to hear this news.

Your Dad told me at the ROMP what was going on. As hard as it is, it's time to be strong for the family, your Mom & Dad AND your Aunt's kids. Life isn't always fair, but ya have to deal with the cards your dealt with.

God bless your Grandma, may she either recover, or get to her final resting place with your Grandpa. I know my Grandpa raised me, and watching him suffer was SOOOO hard on me, but being around the family with alot of support made the times less stressful

as of now my grandma is still sleeping but they dont think shes going to wake up

we cant tell my aunt what is going on because the doctors fear that she will have a major heart attack if she finds out. im going to visit my grandma today.

I am sorry to hear of the bad news, my family is having to deal with my grandmothers stroke still too and that was from a couple of years ago. Its a tough road to go down and you have to try to be strong, which I know is hard, all I can ever think about when I visit my grandmother is how much fun she used to me and how smoking did this to her. Pray for them and you and your family will be in my prayers.
