I originally planned to part this boat out but I screwed up and drove it once. Now for some reason the Daytona and Hydrostream are all dusty. Don't know anything about Legend. Wish I did. I have read many comments that were good about the company and have had people say they couldn't hardly tell it was a copy. I can't but I don't know alot about STV even though this is not my first one.
This boat actually out handles my first one which is probably because of the 15" mid and a bit more weight. The first boat with the modified bridgeport ran high teens but was a little shady at WOT. This LTV is presently running, according to liquid filled Gaffrig, not GPS, well over 120 on pump gas with pcu 10% rich. Interesting up to about 95 or 100 and then takes a real nice set and is fairly easy to drive till WOT. Can't wait till spring to try heads, good gas, and lean this sucker out a bit. Should be fun.
The original owner is Allison771, I think, and I just found out yesterday I am the fourth owner. This thing has seen some very good care as it still looks like new. I would really like to find out who built this motor. I know who last assembled it but not who designed it. The present combination is real strong. Anyone with info on this boat or motor, speak up. Thanks

G-train, thanks for the comments, i like to know where i stand with other stv's for ****'s and giggles. the boat is light and still in excellent shape for it's weight and materials used.
the program i use to resize is irfanview, and that's the program i got from greg t. the pic was taken with 3mp camera. it pisses me off that i have to keep reducing size just so i can post.

Where's a pic of that white one with the blue graphics on it. I think it's a FL boat?

Jim's old boat
I bought it with the mid, cowl and lower unit still bolted to the transom. I have only been to one get together with it. I am still looking for the right combination with my prop and the trim timing. It will take me a little time to get it down the way I like it.
That is most of the fun of racing for me.

Any ideas on how the carbon fiber would look for the seat and race faring?

I think it would look hot....... at least it better, as Wally made all the carbon parts for the Barney boat. I will take a picture after they are all installed.

Re: SMS
Summer of 03 a guy named David Miller (aka Lakeside3000) from Tn. was trying to trade a pearl white Harley for an STV. Eddie replied to the ad, now Ed has a pearl white Harley as his avatar. Coincidence?Originally posted by G-Train

This is probably where it went.
By the way Jim, a bunch of us really appreciate you taking the hit on depreciation on all these boats before you put them in circulation. Thanks buddy.
