    I bought a 2.4 MOD VP motor "new" in 1986, but it didn't say "2.4" anywhere on it??????????????

    The 2.4 Litre decal was on the BP cowls identical to your Mod VP cowl

    Damn Greg !! I spent months and months looking for good pictures of MOD-VP decals and finally got them finished about a month ago by Shoreline Graphics (great guys, by the way) and here they are posted !!............... .........man, I gotta work on my timing LOL
    Those graphics aren't available from Merc anymore, so that should make it easier to get "permission" I'd suppose........?

    Power guesses.........

    I'm hoping for a mid '90's 2.5 150 or 175 or 200 Merc. Even better would be an early 150 or 200 Promax. My plan is to build a package that will run 80+ mph for under $5000, so a 2.5 carb will probably be what I end up with....
