AutoMeter vs Livorsi (price, selection and quality)

Anyone compared prices for O/B gauges

10000 Tach, Water/Fuel PSI, Temp (electric), Volts etc .

Does AutoMeter sell/make a compatible fuel level and do they make a pyro. I know my Monster series were make by AutoMeter but I'm wondering the price difference between the two "Monster Gauges.

I asked Mike Livorsi this question when I had lunch with him here. It is my understanding that Auto Meter gauges are not marinized like the Livorsi units are. Mike is also a really nice guy, and I would gladly do business with them.

    Thanks ...

Casey I'm going to price the two out with exact same parts list and see who wins. Then find the best deal.

autometer gauges, like greg said, will corrode (if used in salt water) been there done that.. never heard of the other gauges, but if the quality, is that of autometer automotive gauges, then id go for that, just for the "all weather" application. (that would be the other guages, livorsi?)

    livorsi

there's nothing wrong with them. they are great gauges. i had them in my triad that i just sold. i bought the new auto meter marine gauges because there different and not many people have them yet. and the white face and blue letter's look sweet w/ blue bezels

true the regular auto meter's don't mix well with water

    Jesse,

Livorsi is in the process of making a new website. The company just had a name change (from Gaffrig to Livorsi) and they need to update everything.

We'll be featuring their 120 MPH GPS speedometer with recall soon in an install article.

    Jesse,

Yes, there were two Gaffrig names out there. It was a long legal battle, but the "real" Gaffrig was made by Livorsi Marine. Now, it's just called Livorsi. Peronally, I like the Livorsi name better, because I met Mike Livorsi and he's a really nice guy. My old Gaffrig gauges will be replaced by Livorsi units too.

He makes very high quality instruments.

I did receive your mail - I sent you a reply

Jeff, I kinda figured Greg would have a snowmobile in the garage in Fla. It'd get as much use as the HydroStream and the Corvette.

Seriously, I've bought stuff from Mike for a long time and his stuff is first class, and his support is also.
