    1981 camaro

Carbs tore down yesterday.Pretty clean for sure. One acc pump dry and froze up,all 4 power valves are to big for a S/C .And now i can boost reference them now that they are apart.

I have had this car now for 3 1/2 months and a lot has all ready been done now as of sharing this build.

Power brake booster needs to be swapped from it's 11" to a 7" dual diaphram unit [its on order should have it soon.Tall valve covers hit it.

A/C delete, and had to remove right inner fender well to remove the f-glass box and install the a/c delete box-it's done now.Still get to keep the heat system.

all brakes were like new and work great. It had a 267 chevy v-8 115hp motor and t-350 trans i drove it home 30mi and drove very well.Very clean car with new rear quarters done rest is rust free thats why i bought it.
Interior is very nice cond also and thats a BIG PLUS also.Factory tach and gages but add new ones to the now modified console for the 4 speed.

    1981 camaro

ST-10 trans. Got the core with a BOP bell housing date 1975 600.00 tore it down and all gears were great but would not shift into 2nd 1-2 nd gear hub and syncro toast and reverse gear bad also..So called him and he actually gave me 350.00 back as he said it was good.So replaced 2-3 3-4 hub assy and reverse gear parts so now rebuild all done 90.00 total to me.

Core was a 1990 454 from c-30 truck still std bore with 4 bolt mains and a cast steel crank that was std also so no machine work was needed as it was all in spec.Good score for 700.00 But now as it s done and the trans i have more in the motor and trans then the whole car.
