Is the HST the only model being built ? Add the Virage, Voyageur, and of course the Viking - would be super cool to see them again.

The virage and HST are the two most viable boats to start with. They both can handle the new pig motors.

So far just the one HST. My understanding is that Full Throttle is assisting, but I could be wrong.

Anyone know the speed potential for one of these with maybe a 300r?

    83 V-King, 96 Mariner, ff block 2.5 w/a 28p chopper
Ain't it great to have papa TRUMP back at the helm?

127 mph is terminal velocity. Couple guys found out, I almost did, they are fine to 115 if you know what you are doing.

Didn't Capt Insano (Lynn) have a fast one back in the day? I know Ballzy had a nasty one as well to name a few.

I can't imagine that any of the old ones were sub 700#s. Please be careful this will more then likely be a whole different rig being less weight and heavier motors then we have run in the past. I always loved the HST, Mark Hildebrand's was clean and fast with the matching jeep to pull it.

Mine is an 89 and mid 600#. It fell apart a lot lol, it's been parked for quite awhile since life got in the way. I have all the things to finish the 3rd resurrection except the ambition. It took 370 hp to get it into the 120's and a pile of broken props and gearcases.

They're beautiful boats, but unless you wanted it for the nostalgia factor, the Venom is a better boat in every way for "new boat " money. Everyone has their own kink, so I get it.

Pound for pound and hp there isn't a chance in hell for a venom to keep up on a twisty river. It's cornering abilities are way up there. They are a bit of an enigma to set up but when it's right it's on.
