Thumbs down Just one important declaration...

I will never ever use any form of AI-generated content, whether it's text or graphics. End of story.

AI is a fascinating technology but its avenues for abuse are unlimited. I am finding complete websites that spring up from nowhere, fully populated with AI-generated articles that are complete garbage. AI is interesting, but it has a long, long way to go.

What annoys me the most is that I come across articles that were written by AI, and there are obvious sections in these articles that indicate that the AI model that was used pulled information from articles I have written, and there is no attribution at all.

    Just saying

Better be careful what info you ask AI to supply. It is NOT all correct!

    Cool

it's not as " NEW " as people make it just a continuation of technology more available for sub intellectual individuals to change their messaging lazily. when was the last time you actually spoke to a person when calling a bank ? been there for probably decades , now it's just easier for chumps manipulate the messaging . fairly easy to detect , changing in voices in one thought ,,, and so on . Hats off Greg , fight the good fight , will chime in when Im able

With the limited exposure I've had to it, I've found "artificial intelligence" to be just as stupid as "human intelligence" and if I EVER need to ask it for the answer to something....just shoot me.

sometimes it's handy, I'm getting older and brain fade happens, i like the part where i can just google something to confirm my thoughts, happy when the AI agrees with me!
I have one child, not really a child 35yrs. old, spends his entire life on web, doesn't have any friends because you don't meet many people his age in my house! somedays I wish the web didn't exist, not even getting into my grandchildrens mothers phone addiction, kids don't learn much watching you stare at your phone!

Google AI gives me different numbers when I ask the gear ratio of my 1962 Mercury 500. Today it’s wrong again. When it’s always right I can trust it more or use a different test

I don't want to sound like the old man yelling get off my lawn , I'm sure it's here an will to continue to evolve and do Mondaine tasks and thats fine , but I listen to alot of talk radio and to hear others with similar experiences relate how it has no emotion for example , I know I get jazzed over a topic from time to time and thats human , AI lacks that especially in sript writing which is why it cannot match the magical story telling we have enjoyed out of Hollywood all my life .

One issue with ai is it can only back a few years so in many cases it makes its claims wrong
