    I can find over 10 own brand yams in china now, just targeting up to 40hp, damn cheap.
    Some good, some got steal drive shafts and shift shafts, the yam copies are generally not to bad but using their own electrics now

    Freshwater seems pretty easy... saltwater is on another whole level for outboards. You could sell a LOT of absolute crap here in the Midwest that wouldn't survive a season on any coast.
