Can you retain Analog Gauges if you replace older Mercury Outboard with New 300R?
Can I keep my existing Auto Meter gauges if I switch to a new Mercury 300R Outboard?

There is an analog gauge harness that connects to junction box. I would suggest you definitely add a screen to take full advantage of what is available.
Here is my wiring layout for twins.
It may be difficult to read but note N says if plugging analog harness into J box a Gender Blender is required.Last edited by Jim Speros; 11-14-2025 at 03:12 PM.

v10 is not compatible with analogue gauges, v6/v8 is so yes. If nothing else get a sc1000 so you can view codes, hours, maintenance log etc.

You can always add old school sending units to the motor. Super easy and low buck too
