I was working for John Staluppi when he was building that boat. When he said he was putting turbines in it I thought he was crazy... Guess I was right. Scary enough hooking a bat turn at 70mph in my 17' boat. Cant imagine what it's like hooking a 137 footer.

different class of boat , this could be a dingy or one of those . also different category financially , the efficiency is most attractive to me and to have that kind of range . for instance a 64' Viking will cost 5k to go to Nassau and back at 30 mph, thats it , there and back , and accommodate 2 couples comfortably ( you would be ready for combat in those close quarters by the time you got back ) whereas this cat has room to spare , run all around over there , plenty of room to get away from each other and still have 2 grand left over . I'll go that route

I've seen Octapussy come under the Varrazano bridge and nail it , at least 1/2 the entire hull came out of the water and run bow high .one of the most impressive feats I've ever witnessed , and the rooster tail was Awsome
