RJ owns Composite Craft and lives in the northern part of California. He builds 45's and F1 hulls. RJ dominated the 45's when I met him at the races probably 10 years ago. He moved up to the F1 NGK series a few back and started with a 2.5 and I believe he started testing with an OPTIMAX and may have been the first to run the APX250.
RJ had an incident in Roar of the Rockies last Saturday in qualifying where it appears his boat survived 3-barrel rolls.

Great guy and innovator for boat racing

Saw him race last yr w/the 4 stroke Merc.
I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.

I refuse to allow common sense to interfere w/my boat buying decisions.
