Keep the 2 blade for antique shows, but get a modern working 3 blade, for daily use, your milage should rise a bit, and all around satisfaction.
The only 2 blade I ever ran was on my 75 Viper inline 6, It was not too bad, My first performance boat, I knew nothing.
The street I grew up on, Payne Ave, deadened at the Erie Barge Canal, that's where they built Richardson Boat company, I was close down during my life time, but during WW2 they built several boats for the Navy, The GM plant in Town of Tonawanda quit building motors and started building Bombers for the Air Force. History lesson
What size is your shaft and spline #s, we have a few old timers still here, maybe someone would let you try a prop or two.
A little History, from the end of my street

It's amusing to hear you are putting the boat away for the winter, I remember boating on the Niagara river into late October, with a sweater and motorcycle jacket on, no one else was out there, I relished that, because I would normally take the long way around Grand Island, along Niagara county past Niagara Falls along the Canadian boarder towards Buffalo to escape all the heavy traffic between Tonawanda and Grand Island, Off season It was soo enjoyable, I HATE crowds
I guess that's why we used to haul our snowmobiles south of Buffalo or past Toronto to your hood to go snowmobiling
Are you a snowmobiler ?, I would think you would HAVE to be, Buffalo NY has a bad reputation of lots of snow, which is FALSE, every 10 years when Lake Erie is still warm You Canadians send us a Artic cold front which picks up enormous amounts of moisture then drops it on Buffalo city area, NORMALLY all the snow drops South of Buffalo in the south towns, ski area, I used to get season ski passes at Kissing Bridge, at my home in N Tonawanda, there would be no snow, or just a few flakes, once you drove south of Buffalo constant snow, we called it Lake effect, the Prevailing Westerly winds absorb moisture over lake Erie, dropping it south of Buffalo, the Bills Stadium is in Orchard Park South of Buffalo, that's the start of the snow belt lake effect.GO BILLS

I will likely try some more old bronze props. They come up on Ebay, and I have a borrowed one in the garage that I have not tried. No modern props.
And no snowmobiles aka sleds for me. I walk the dog, chop wood, and shovel for winter out doors activity.
Go Bills indeed. Quite a come back last week.
