Hydraulic jackplate for my XB 2002

What's everyone running for hydraulic plates on XB 2002? Experiences good and bad with your choice of brand? I am thinking 10-12" plate. Kids are getting older and i need to move the motor down for family play VS my manual plate.

    thanks

I run with some big coogars. They both run seastar extremes one with a 400R and one with a 300R. The setback they run is insane. I think it’s about 2’ a huge jack as well as a huge bracket. In fact I think it’s more than 2’ it’s tons. The jacks are 12” and go up and down under full power. I’ve never seen a porta in person maybe they are the bees knees but we all love these seastar jacks. Work mint and absolutely no unwanted movement. Zero

Mercury Para lifts are good. Finding a good used one is the problem.

I have an old Detwiler Hydrojack on my Checkmate. They are now Seastar. It is very old, It has a remote pump in the boat. It works flawlessly. Never a problem. Goes up on or down quick at full throttle or idle, makes no difference. No wiggle at all. Very solid. But I do think its kind of heavy considering the pump is in the boat. I also just picked up a CMC High Speed Power Lift for my Hydrostream project. Much simpler design as an all in one. No hoses. Cant vouch for how it works yet. But it is definitely much lighter then the Detwiler. Reasonably priced too.

I was looking at these, does it have a height stop on it so i can set a max height and it will stop at that setting? Thanks for your reply.
