...another new 47 apache being delivered to ralph martins everglades hi & dry marina on 17th street in ft. lauderdale, mid 80's. all torn down these days. before it was a hi & dry, the property was a sea world...

...a blue lincoln towne car pulled up next to don aronow on n.e. 188th street, north miami beach, in his mercedes, shot five times, killing the king of thunderboat row, 1987. you can see a blurred USA powerboats sign in the background, which was don's company. also on his front license plate...

Light and powerful. Gobbles fuel of course, but still. When light and powerful are needed, then gas turbine is the only game in town, and will be for potentially forever. There is no other engine technology with the capability of replacing it... That is until anti-gravity is invented.
