We checked yesterday with our after sales rep. at Evinrude and the sale does include Evinrude. We are expecting more information soon but us dealers are being told it will be business as usual until a deal is made with a buyer.

Strange times. I love BRP's capacity for innovation. There is some extremely bright mechanical and design minds at that company. I hope the new buyer can license some of their incredible tech

There is a large BRP dealer close to my house, they must have bought 40 of the Switch's last spring.. by the fall there was maybe 5 gone, all the rest still sitting there in the factory shrink wrap.

It’s not just BRP. Since inflation went nuts I’ve seen tons of toys for sale and many lingering on market.

That's because they solved a problem that only existed in theory, not reality. Kinda falls under the saying "when you try to please everyone, you end up pleasing no one." They're kind of the EV pickups of the water.

The upside, is that they will have a cult following someday, like the amphicar or Wet bike, and they'll sell for more than new in 20-30 years. Nostalgia has a way of doing that.

That's pretty sad... they did spell it correctly further down the page.

I have been messing with LiFePo4 & supercapacitors so I think it's awesome to see electric start without a starter or battery. Arctic Cat's batteryless EFI was pretty cool, but you still had to pull start it every time.

They are not selling the Sea Doo line so they are still making the Switch. They are getting popular in my area since we run shallow rivers
