All the V-6 Carbureted Engine Specs and Differences???

Is there a web site, or page somewhere that shows all the V-6 carbed motors differences, identification, specs, and interchangeability?

There are a few of you guys but not nearly enough. I'm glad someone is interested. This site will be the reference book. I hope it survives.

I have learned so much here, and even more from Racervboat that I cannot thank everyone enough. I am willing to guess if it was not for this site I would have never pulled the trigger on any boats to this day! A very very sad thing is that most of this knowledge is falling to the wayside and will be a thing of the past by the time I am getting ready to hang it up.

Will it survive I see the sandbars and see no classic boats more and more friends are going to pontoon boats or cc with 4strokes. A lot of the real techs are gone from here. The manufactures are making parts obsolete or chinese crap. I miss the rivalry between omc and mercury. Inject the times and politics and people have been chased from here with their leaving went a lot of knowledge. Maybe it's an age thing for I'm getting old I use to be able to write my name in the snow now I wash my shoes. Sorry for the rant but this is a great sport and I hate to see it die and I miss a lot of the true 2 stroke guru's not posting. .02

I never liked OMC. Maybe because that was what the police boats used. Not the only reason. No other outboard smells as good as a good running Merc. They sound so sweet screaming too.
Its easy to see yamadogs originally copied many of OMC's traits. I reluctantly let a buddy with a Yamadog use my chain fall to install a jack plate. I swear that boat stunk up my shop!
    Mercury all the way baby!

second effort changed my mind , 30 shadow,32/37 maelstroms with twins, triple formula V8's. still like mercs but there were better alternatives for bigger boats
