Just kidding of course. The business section of my newspaper regularly has articles about how wonderful the US economy is, in comparison to Canada's and the rest of the world. Your government can't be doing everything wrong.

Part of the US economy's short term strength is probably the huge deficit spending. I expect the accumulated debt and interest to bite you eventually. Not that the deficit is an election issue for you. It will be for us next year, but I don't expect any realistic debate. Another advantage of the US, is that commodities are largely priced in $US. For the rest of us, the strong US dollar is inflationary. For you, a strong US dollar is not inflationary
