If this motor does sell, something merc 2.5 most likely. 200xs would probably be preferred but I hear 280s are fun…. It would depend on what’s available when.

How does the boat plane off/ handle with the SHO? A gen II 200XS would be perfect on that boat. A 280 would be too, but there is a maintenance cost I hope you're aware of. GLWS

Boat planes great with a 30” bblades blaster or bravo 1. Yea a 280 would be the complete opposite maintenance wise, and I have other things that require a good amount of maintenance already, but a 280 sure would be fun.
a gen 2 200xs would be my first pic if I could find a good one.
