    300x power ?

Recently had my 05 300x throw a siren while we were out, took it in and the vro had to be replaced, took it out after being fixed and it would barely plane off, came home and changed/regapped plugs to .035 thinkin it could be foul plugs, took it out the other day and it did not help, could it be coil packs ? Anyone have an idea of where to start

Sounds like the vro default threw it in limp mode, whoever did the vro should have reset it and erased the default code. Check with them, I believe a reset puts it in break-in mode (extra rich on the oil pump for a while) If memory serves, key on, do not start, push throttle to full three times. That's all I've got.

I got to try it out again this weekend, pressed the pedal, had to ride around at 30 mph for about an hour, then it came alive again

Good ?, I'm not too sure, i pressed the pedal 3 times like you said and the boat still acted sluggish , i was riding beside my bro in his tracker for the first hour or so at about 28-30 mph, half way through the day itmust have reset because it started actin completly normal,i guess i had to go through the rpm reset before it would open up

Cool! It's been 8/10 years, My memory is not what it used to be. I thought on a reset, everything went back to normal with just an xtra oil load thru a break-in time span. Good Luck.
