i took the advice of @89LASER
...to use aluminum to secure the bench bolts inside the pucks
so I took an aluminum bar that is 4 inch by 4 inch square

.
for the transom , i built a bracket to hold the depth finder & under-water lights
the 90* angles on the bracket was achieved by using a compression tool (2 metal plates bolted to compress the part)
the compression tool in the background...foam core was used to give the part the rectangular shape...the foam was wrapped in saran wrap for ease of removal from the part

tested the new-to-me whaler , the family loves it. The center console has a head for the ladies
this pic was taken from Nick's Park Boat Ramp .. Port Richey, FL
we hung out at Anclote Sand Bar
it was a windy day. When seated on the bench, my son and I , together weigh over 450 pounds. The glassed-in pucks held our weight through the rough waters...pretty cool !
