I remember when they said : Plants take in CO2 and expelled Oxygen ..

Today we have : Too many greentards wasting Oxygen whining about plant food ..

Once again for those who are brainwashed by fellow left wing idiots ..

With a little more research, I think I've found some of the mis-understanding of climate change > this article >https://www.britannica.com/science/fossil > is suggesting to me that "Fossil" may have changed its Pronouns! (Fossile) no offense intended.

I guess the college kids are preoccupied with other protests, instead of protesting about China's pollution.
    I regressed.

But, if F1 racing is going to synthetic fuels soon, then we the public will see if it's a viable economic solution or another costly restriction to racing

CO2 makes up only about 0.04% of the atmosphere, and water vapor can vary from 0 to 4%.

China is the world's largest annual greenhouse gas emitter. In 2020, it emitted 12.3bn tonnes of CO2 equivalent (GtCO2e), amounting to 27% of global greenhouse gas emissions, according to the CAIT database maintained by the World Resources Institute (WRI

China, the world's biggest emitter of carbon dioxide, produces 12.7 billion metric tons of emissions annually. That dwarfs U.S. emissions, currently about 5.9 billion tons annually.

Key findings from the latest Inventory include: In 2022, U.S. greenhouse gas emissions totaled 6,343 million metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalents, and 5,489 million metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalents after accounting for sequestration from the land sector

The world in 2023 increased its annual emissions by 398 million metric tons, but it was in three places: China, India and the skies. China’s fossil fuel emissions went up 458 million metric tons from last year, India’s went up 233 million metric tons and aviation emissions increased 145 million metric tons.

    Elementary my dear Watson ...

Sad that these gretta wanna-bees ... like her, failed 2 nd grade science ..

I was using synthetic 120 octane fuel 15 years ago. Pour out a fuel bowl's worth of it on the sidewalk .. look back a few seconds later. You can't even tell where it was.

If they could do this back then .. I'm sure they can make pizz water 87 full synthetic a lot cheaper than $25 a gallon.

The Nazi's had synthetic oil & gasoline 85 years ago... it was only "economical" in so far as they had nothing else!

Lots of interesting climate info from this guy, for anyone who isn't afraid to watch it: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=zUPASUoozfE

But why? Carbon dioxide is not a pollutant, we have plenty of cheap petroleum available to drill, cars and trucks are ridiculously clean... what will be the actual benefit of synthetic fuel? It seems to me that F1 should work to advance technologies that people will actually use.

I sure the reason for it is to convert from oil based fuels.
We need to save all the oil for windmill gearboxes

I wouldn't be super-surprised to see pneumatic valve springs on the next generation Corvette (and whatever 4-stroke outboard Mercury is selling around the time that the next Vette comes out)... which is what 30+ year-old F1 technology?

GM had active suspension on Cadillac test cars in the mid-1980's... it was impressive but expensive then. The Northstar V8 wasn't supposed to have a starter... the injectors & ignition fired on whichever cylinders had closed valves; but it sounded like an old Detroit diesel as it cranked up (not very luxurious for a Cadillac).

Anyway, lots of cool F! tech will make it to mainstream someday... I just don't see synthetic fuels being one.

I think Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bugatti assume ICE vehicles running petroleum will be eventually banned but their super-wealthy customers will just buy 55-gallon drums of syn-fuel in order to keep driving them. So basically they are selling us (F1 fans) out in order to go along with the "green" agenda.
