225 promax - 260 mash up not getting fuel

Recently bought a motor off a buddy and I'm having difficulty getting it running. It's a promax with 260 fuel injection adapted. I've seen the motor run on a prior boat so I'm confident the conversion is ok. I plumbed a bosch 044 pump and return. Using the same bosch fuel regulator that was on it. Don't have a pressure guage yet, but will tomorrow. The pump runs, return line is dumping fuel back to the tank. Motor will start on ether. Absolutely nothing on just the fuel pump and the plugs are dry. I'm convinced the injectors aren't firing. It has a brucato box. I plugged in a stock promax box and get the same result. I spread all the pins in the harness thinking maybe I wasn't getting a good connection on something. No help.

Any ideas on what may cause fhe injectors to not fire? Or any other ideas? The motor was run in December and I was there.

hey kurt, are you sure you have ignition on? small red wire inline fuse

You can get noid lights to plug into the harness and see if the injectors are being commanded to open

Does the motor have a Mercury Stator? My injectors were not firing either with Brucato. Brucato checked ok, come to find out the CDI Stator wasn't delivering the correct voltage. New A-36 stator, problem solved.

Yes, ignition wire is ok.

Will check into the noid lights and check the stator. Maybe the stator has gone bad. It ran in December and was removed from boat shortly after. But stuff can quit so I'll check that out. Thank you.

As usual, it was something simple. The purple wire that powers the computer had come unplugged. Starts right up now.
