    Skater 28

    It’s time ….

The boat is a 1997 Skater 28 - I think I’m the third owner. The boat was re-rigged with 2005 300X’s in 2007/2008 by the original owner. I believe he also had the tanks done in 2005 by Skater. This was verified by myself, because I called Skater and talked to the guy that did them - he said they are “forever tanks”.

In 2010, the second owner had the boat repainted by Mitcher T Custom Painting in Michigan. I think he had the interior redone in 2011.

I purchased the boat in the fall of 2015. Before using it in 2016, it had new gauges put in, new carpet, the rear seat was moved forward, and the rigging was gone through and replaced.

The trailer is an Owens & Sons aluminum with tandem axles.

The boat has since been used 3-4 months a year on the Whitefish Chain in Crosslake, MN. I will guess the motors have ~ 400 hours.

Included will be a cockpit cover and full cover.

    Also included are a spare set of Mercury Cleavers ( 3 Blade ) in 15 X 32 and my DeWald Cleavers ( 4 Blade ) in 14 3/4 X 32.

The boat was surveyed in the summer of 2023 and is insured by Wozencraft.

The Skater 28 is a legend and I love the boat. Having said that, it’s time for me to play with something different.

    $125,000 OBO

I know the boat and I have been in it many times. Setup very well and very fast. The next owner will get a great boat.
