    Vagas vee pad steering.

Hydrostream Vegas, just finished the core job and hope to put a 225+ motor w/10" set back bracket.

I'm looking for suggestions regarding steering
My last stream was a Valero yt, lots of hp out of an evolution built carbed johnson. Turned a 30p hill 4 blade 7200 rpm a little over 100... Very Thrilling!
I had rotary dual cable nfb steering. At first it felt really "notchy" when sawing at the wheel above 80-90mph

So I took the balls out of the head a removed the nfb function. It was much better.

I can't afford the pro hydraulic set up, and don't like the feel of the cheaper hyd. set up's....
Should I go rotary duel cable again knowing what I know, or would the dual rack be better?
Would I be able to disable the nfb if I desired?
I don't expect the extreme speeds as the stripped down yt.
But this Vegas is the vee pad hull and I expect some excitement above 80.
The instigator knows of evolution builds from back in the day.
By the way I'm looking for a built or stock carbed 225 looper..
    Sorry about the paragraph...lol.
    Thanks for looking.

The dual cable rotary I had in my last Vking was terrible. Very sloppy compared to the dual cable rack in my Valero that was very tight and worked great aside from the high effort to work it at speed. I’d skip the rotary and go dual rack they come up used now and then for a reasonable price
