    Yard Art, Raveau for sale

I saw this on Facebook and it's calling me. It's a 2016 Raveau, the last one made. 14 feet and a bit.

On the plus side, it's beautiful, and I could tow it with my vehicle.

    Minus side:

    (1) I have too much stuff already and have a PWC in a friend's garage and a Lotus in paid storage.
    (2) Asking price is $20K w/o motor
    (3) A small almost flat bottom boat is totally unsuitable for our lake, except for early in the morning when I take my SS2000 out fast or water ski behind our ski boat.

I wonder if one could put a Merc Formula 60E on it.

Super neat Sir but I think you’re best to stick to glass unless you’re going to showcase and store that gem . Just get back to that layup thing you were doin with Spaeth .

No layup help this week, they are waiting for back ordered material and then another hull gets gel/skin/infusion. I was in last Friday to help with stringer installation.

My family were late adopters to fiberglass boats. My father had a cedar strip boat until 1985, and then we got a 14' Grew. As a result of long exposure to wooden boats, I am drawn to them. It is however hard to justify money and more storage trouble for yard art, however pretty.

Thanks for the view of that Raveau - yes they’re a pull to the eye . Most admire them - I enjoy them as well . Getting some Spaeth time I see . I am about to see Chris and hopefully his father shortly ! End of the month .
