Hmmm. Do I subscribe to one or both posts, from the same author, covering the same topic?

I have a Brucato acu, can customize fuel map, just need to know about top main cap, stator and trigger. The reason I'm wanting to try this is every time I launch hard I am on the limiter as soon as she starts flying good. Anyways a couple times of this and it goes either to guardian mode or break in mode, aggravating as.....!!!

Send the ecu to Simon and have the limiter disabled, then when it throws the chicken leg rods out you can start over

Rods are the weak point. You will need a 40amp flex plate flywheel. Taper hub 5 degrees and cut 3/16" keyway. Use a 2.5 small bearing top cap and machine to fit. Drill and tap existing boss on top of block to mount. Thats the hardest part. Lots of math to get it all aligned. I have a fuel curve for ACU.

Thank, had it out this weekend, and it wouldn't turn over 5300. To the point of pulling it and putting my 2.4 back on, then pull 3.0 apart and build. What rods to use and where to get them

    3.0L blocks don't use a "top bearing cap" ..

Early model blocks use a stator , late model Motorola blocks do not.

You will need to use some of each to make it work.

Or, you can get a 300x PCM and a set of peak and hold injectors. It will be plug and play with a 7000 rpm limiter. As well as, six ign and six injectors drivers.

Stock 225 box has a 5250 limiter. So you were all in with what you have.

If your building one from scratch. You can safely get 20 - 30 grams out of the pistons + pins. Coating is a good idea.

All the rods are the same. I've had good luck with getting them all to weigh the same. Shot peening, chryo treating and dry film coating the thrust surfaces.

Mr. Chaz, thank you for the reply. Amazing work, looks great. Will look into getting parts and ecu, and could you do the piston and rod set-up for me and how much would it cost

Tp get the most out of it. You will want to get the block ported and the heads cut to match / increase the compression ratio.

I'll have to look @ my price sheets, put something on paper and PM it to you.

Busy week guys, sorry for the wait. Mr Chaz the porting and all sounds good, send me a price please, in the mean time I'm gonna put the 2.4 efi back on so I can go ahead with the 3.0 liter build. If I'm going to do it I'm gonna do it all the way, mad efi mid, and cowling as well. I've located two other engines as well. Thanks for the advice, looking forward to finishing this one

Are the 300x injectors what I would need, or is there a specific set I would need to use.
