Between the people smoking pot, taking THC in some form, Drinking, on drugs prescription or not, texting or reading cell phones , I think we have about 70% of the drivers on the roads after 8pm are effected by something that hinders their ability and or reaction time. Its a scary thought as I enjoy riding motorcycles on the same public roadways.
Not sure why we would outlaw guns, cars, or anything else that people blame human actions for. The only gun that ever allegedly killed someone was in the hands of Alec Baldwin. The rest were discharged by the operator.

A gun is a tool, nothing more. Don't you understand it's the human using the tool that is the problem. So how do we get the murderers to stop murdering people?
The key is strong family's and strong morals. If the people doing the murdering don't value human life and our courts don't lock up murderers for life how are things going to change? It is a small percentage of the population doing the killing. If you don't take them off the streets the murders only continue.
You have to have these things happen if you want to reduce murders. There are other things that will help, like economic improvement and a change in our culture so the entertainment values strong morals.
Morals are one of the keys to improvement. Without strong moral belief and locking up murderers we won't see significant improvements.Last edited by CDave; 02-18-2024 at 04:08 PM.

Even as I get older I honestly think that everybody should have to take the written AND practical driving tests every 10 years in order to renew their license. People drive like ****... and it's getting worse every year.
