I thought you said delrin was bouncier that OEM?

Also, I think just because mounts are of matched type does not mean they age and wear the same. So, I think it could be a false sense of security thinking that matching will guaranty even loading.

    Matching aluminium in my rides.
The stock uppers see fuel and oil. So your right,.. the uppers probably need to be replaced more often, if using rubber or delrin. I would still replace all if I was that deep into it.
Yes I said delrin bounce, and not just in the rough stuff, but going down the lake on flat water. Rubber dampens, moves more in rough water, but doesn't bounce as bad. I tried all three types within a year on my bullet, and wasn't impressed with delrin. Just my opinion, do what you want, what's the worst that could happen.

If you were to compare it to vehicle suspension. Rubber would be stock (nice ride), delrin would be like a over sprung lowrider with blown shocks, and aluminum is like a hard tail chopper.
This is my experience running surface drive. Delrin might not be bad sub surface?

You make the stock sound so good, but the price is a killer.

When I changed from stock to solid aluminum, I did not notice a big difference in ride. But I noticed a big difference in control.

No change in my ride either. My boat wasn't bouncing, the engine/ mid bounced on the clamp/plate. Likely from the blades of the prop hitting the water. With solid aluminum it shakes the whole boat at idle, if the transom/knees are solid.

If anyone has any old OEM lower mounts (77327) from swapping to solid mounts they want to sell, hit me up. Looking for used ones in good condition.

I just pulled these out of a lower I've got here. I'd say they're in pretty good shape. Shoot me a PM
