    My first STV

After 33 years with the FD I'm finally retired and bought myself a project.
92 STV that was last owned by Rod "capneez" he won the 2L class at the 2017 Parker Enduro at 80 years old running one leg and has been stored since.
Don't know much about these hulls but I want to restore it back to original river hot rod.

Great boats, we have a 92' in our fleet and I had one when they were new. Hyd. steering with a power assist sure makes them easier to drive then the dual cables back then.

Was told this was a ski bottom, any thoughts compared to the other bottoms made.
If you look close small fins were added to help it turn left.

The large inverted V in the front is the Ski,

the smaller version is the later circle race version, better at turning, race conditions.

Won't complain about the the life style this career provided for my family but, it was a good time to hang up the super suit. Unfortunately my Department no longer recruits problem solvers. Celebrating my last shift with a breakfast with family and friends.

Ski bottoms do everything better for pleasure boat set up. The drag bottoms don't decelerate fast enough or turn as well.
