What I've had isn't as important as what's yet to come.
Currently own a XTB 21 with a fresh 260, and some smaller boats. Soon to be ...... a Triad STV Euro with a CRT billet 300+.

Did you run the Yamaha before and after the tune? How does it compare to the 260?

I did not run it prior to doing the tune… flashed it right out of the box. I added a blowout ring to the lower, had a nosecone installed and did some mods to the skeg. I went with the wingplate steering setup as well. I will be doing the fat shaft and bearing carrier in the next few weeks.
In regards to the 260 it is better in every way… better holeshot, better mid-range, better top end & much better fuel consumption.

I was interested in the checkmate pulse 200 mercury some ears back...but later changed my mind for no reason. What’s so special about it?

I had to buy a lot of my boats broken, then rebuild, repair as I could. Most of them were quite labor intensive. I do get to keep the memories, and some of the friends I’ve made.
