I just met a guy who said permission has been granted to build the 24 outboard Batboat to race in the new to America.

3X class, 225hp stock motors just like 3C the cat class.

C3 and 3X use the same motors and run in the 80's in race form with two aboard

Class 7 has been the only single outboard class, but they are limited to 60 MPH GPS even though they run 300hp motors

So these two new to-USA classes will be exciting and cheaper in the long run,

I myself don't like bracket GPS racing, so this should stimulate a lot of interest

Minimum 22 foot long measured from keel to bow with a 26-foot max length.

Permission has just recently been given, I believe Mannerfield said molds will come from overseas, so this will take a while.

I've been a fan of his for 25 years,

Ok, Mike said He will probably be building a new mold, and it will not be coming from overseas,

So this will be a ways off, If anyone remembers, they tried starting a class where everyone had a 24 ft Batboat, inboard all stock

Well, this will be the same hull, the 24. It's all because of the way they now measure the length, starting from the rear of the keel to the bow.
