Exclamation These are so crazy anbd dangerous, but I want to drive one!

I have been reading a lot on Thai long-tail race boats and the more I learn, the more interesting I find them. It seems that this kind of racing has become extremely popular there and other countries. They look crazy but crazy can be good sometimes, right?

Eye protection and life jacket might be a start. I agree, it looks like a blast.

I like the vids where they put a hot girl in the boat and point the camera at her the whole ride.

Maybe 30-35 years ago I would have tried it. Now I will keep my cushioned bucket seat and windshield.

Handles amazingly well but don't get their failure to understand what would happen if something went bad wrong with no life jacket or helmet.

Maybe it's not that they don't understand ........ maybe it's just that they don't have a "big brother" telling them what they can and cannot do with their lives.

    Rock on, Thai brothers.

My first thought is let's put a pad on that thing. But my more realistic thought would let's build a highbred runner bottom/ tunnel. Maybe 6" wide runners with a 6" height. I am Shure Aeromarine research could point us in the right direction.

some of the Thai Longtail race boats have very flat bottoms already, some with steps. very fast. a tunnel might add some aero lift, but these boats are 'flying' already!

Obviously no @#$%^&* Wake Boats in their area.
I bet Frank Mole could haul about 300 of the Longtail's on a small trailer - LOL
