FOR SALE : Have a backyard full of this stuff but just couldn't say no to this all original 1973 Sutphen 17 sport pacer with I think is the original 150 ( engine and controls are for sale )
Sure it needs a transom , floors and stringers but what old boat doesn't . Came on a like new loadright roller trailer Clean NJ title for the boat, no paperwork on trailer . 3500.00

I built one from Richies molds in the 80’s with a light layup. Powered it with a 200 merc with a 28p chopper ran in the 70’s. Really a good ruff water boat for a 17

Im not worried about the weight of a 3 litre as this boat also came with a big block . How fast with a 250xs or 300xs ?

250 XS are strong engines as are 300s. Same 28 prop pitch for 250 might run 80+or so 300 might need a bigger prop and might hit 90 The boat was designed to run twin inline 150’s.
