Whatever happened to seeing gregs boat out again?

The thread appears to have been deleted, but whatever happened to the go fund me account and the money donated so greg could keep his boat and get it out again? did it ever come back outside?

Honestly I have no idea, I know he had his moms medicals and was in the path of one of the hurricanes but I have no idea of the timeline. I just remember he was going to sell the boat, then JPEROG started a go fund me, then the thread was gone and I've never seen the boat out....was curious?

Hey guys, I still have the boat. I don’t think that original thread was deleted, at least not by me.

I did make a promise to Joe that I would run the boat and I will. As others stated, unfortunately I took a direct hit from hurricane Ian and though I was fortunate in many ways, my house and property still sustained quite a bit of damage including the need to replace the entire roof. Kind of a double-whammy for me. Here we are a year later and I’m still dealing with the damage repairs. So those tasks put the boat on the back burner for the time being. Others here were affected to a far larger degree so I know it could have been much worse. It is also important for me to mention that Jim did me a huge favor by having these huge trees removed that had fallen on top of my dock.

The support you’ve all showed me in the wake of my mom’s passing and the medical financial vortex that followed is something I think about a great deal. Up until then was of course why I originally listed the boat for sale. I’ll post an update about the boat soon.
