That's my favorite quick breakfast ... A short stack (2 pancakes) + a side of bacon. Yummmmmmm!

When I have time, I love to make "cat's head buttermilk biscuits" named for the size of them. Butter and some good honey mixed and liberally applied. YUM YUM. IF you like palmalito guava jelly it's even better... So good they will make your sticker peck out!

Is that a tomato gravy? My mom use to make a dish with stewed tomato's and biscuits. Man that was some good eatin'.

Real easy recipe. flour, baking powder (or use self rising flour) some butter, salt and buttermilk or reg milk.
Maybe 2 cups flour, 4 teaspoons baking powder, 1/2 tbl salt, 4 tbl butter cut up small bits. Mix the dry stuff and add butter. Work into the flour well. Add the milk until it's formed a dough. (3/4 cup?) fold the dough ball over and over. 6 times or so. Make biscuits and bake at 425* on a iron skillet coated (or baking pan) in solid crisco, or other oil.

no sir , a pat of butter in the skillit and take a fork and loosen up the yum yums then a spot of black coffee n some water and a dash of sugar and bring it to a boil, tastes so good it will make you want to cry

at dare is Red Eye Gravy , pour it or dunk , try it and you'll be scared or life
