    94 200 efi stuck at 1600 under load did efi test with merc tester and plug wire pulli

    Tested the injection system and everthing was ok but when checking pulses on cylinder 1&2 they were alot quieter then 3&4 and 5&6. Then started the motor and when I pulled the plug wire from either 1 or 2, (both have good spark) and there was no change in idle rpm. 3,4,5&6 all dropped 150 rpm when the plug wire was removed. I switched the leads to the coil (turning cyl 1 coil into cyl 3 coil) and when I pulled the plug wire cyl 1 had no change in rpm but the original cyl 1 coil (now going to 3 ) caused the 150 rpm drop. When I lake tested it last week both cyl 1 & 2 were very wet 3&4 a wee bit and 5&6 fine. I am thinking the 2 injectors may be stuck open. Is this a possibility? I also used 2 ecus , new brucato and an existing A17. Both ecus were held to the 1600 or so rpm.

    ARE you saying it wont rev past 1600, in neutral or in gear/?

    Stuck at 1600 in gear on water. Will rev in netural (raised rpm gently, not a stab to avoid free wheeling) Did compression test all with in 2 psi of each other

    You can pop the intake cover off and watch the injectors spray. You could also ohm the injector harness.
