Major server upgrades and your support

Hi All,

It's about that time again, where we have outgrown our server and it needs to be fully upgraded. This is needed for several reasons; however, I need to move forward with this upgrade sooner than planned because this site has a voracious appetite for SSD data storage and all five of those physical SSDs on the main sever need to be replaced. I suppose uploading 300 photos from the SODA Summer Showdown this week didn't help.

During that time the site will be offline, but the downtime will be minimal, likely just a few hours. I will post about the day and time that will be.

I need to thank our Supporting Vendors and Team Members for your generous support, because this site simply would not exist without them, let alone needed hardware upgrades to the server. And you all really created this awesome community, which I am very proud to be a part of.

If anybody would like to support the site by becoming a Team Member, it would be most helpful, most especially now. The ever-increasing use of ad-blockers are steadily depriving this site of its Google banner ad revenue to concerning levels.

Greg, thanks for everything you do for this site. Agreed, everyone who uses S&F should become a team member, at least. $25 is a cheap price for all the info you can gather here. I'm sure that if you went to a marine mechanic with with a problem for your motor and he said he'll diagnose it for $25, you would pay it. My old Johnson would be in the scrapyard without the help from S&F gurus. Thanks to all.
